PURPOSE:To improve the mixture of carrier and toner and the rise of charging the toner and to prevent toner scattering and toner fog by using resin coated carrier having many pores on its surface. CONSTITUTION:First, starter consisting of the mixture of the magnetic carrier and toner is loaded in an empty chamber 15 and a main device is preliminarily actuated, then the magnetic toner is loaded in a toner storing part 21. The magnetic toner is carried on the outer peripheral surface of a developing sleeve 10 based on the rotation of a magnetic body 11 and is mixed, stirred and triboelectrified with the magnetic carrier when it passes the empty chamber 15. Then, a magnetic brush consisting of magnetic developer is formed on a developing area A and rubs the surface of a photosensitive body 9 so as to develop an electrostatic latent image. In such a case, the resin coated carrier consisting of a carrier core material 1, a resin coating layer 2 with which the core material 1 is coated and the pores 3 formed on the surface of the layer 2 is used. |
