Centrifuged cake detachment and transfer into worm extractor - via fixed diffuse round mobile end of feeder tube

The cake (K) building on the wall of a centrifugal separator, esp. in a pneumatic conveyor system is taken into the stationary section (40) of an extractor tube tangentially connected to a central feeder tube (44). A diffuser section (46) loosely engages a mobile section (32) of the extractor tubes. The annular gap round the diffuser is entered by transport gas with an injector action, and which helps to dry the cake during entry into the feeder tube. The mobile section (32) is coupled by a pivot arm (64) to a rotatable shaft (28) mounted on the centrifuge housing. Arcuate scraper blades (50,52) above and below a rotating scraper nozzle (36) detach collected cake in plough-share manner for entrainment into the extractor tube. ADVANTAGE - Cake can be completely removed before prod. change. A simple nozzle section can be combined with different scraper blades dependent on material centrifuged.
