PURPOSE:To accelerate electrode reaction and improve power generation efficiency by making the pore diameter at the portion of a porous electrode in contact with the interface with a solid electrode smaller than the pore diameter at the surface portion on the opposite side to the interface. CONSTITUTION:A solid electrode film 16 and a fuel electrode film 17 are arranged along the outer periphery of a bottomed cylindrical air electrode pipe 15, an inter-connector 12 is provided on the air electrode film 15 in the upper region, and a connecting terminal 13 is fitted on it. The pore diameter of the porous air electrode pipe 15 of this fuel cell has an inclination, i.e., the pore diameter is distributed to be continuously changed in the vertical direction to the cross section, for example. The pore diameter of the portion of the electrode pipe 15 in contact with the interface 1 with the solid electrode film 16 is set small, and the pare diameter of the portion in contact with a space 20 in the pipe 15 is set relatively larger. Electrode reaction is cumulatively accelerated in conjunction with an increase of reaction points on the interface 1, and power generation efficiency can be improved. |
