摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent generation of torque shock at changeover of output characteristic by constituting the device to change the prescribed changeover rotating speed according to running-in condition of an engine at changing a intake air charging quantity to change output characteristic at the changeover rotating speed. CONSTITUTION:The output control device of an engine is provided with a charging efficiency changing means 18 to change output characteristic by changing an intake air quantity supplied to the engine into a plurality of steps, a rotating speed detecting means 34 to detect rotating speed of the engine, and a control means 41 to receive output of the rotating speed detecting means 34 and control the charging efficiency changing means 18 to change intake air charging quantity from a prescribed changeover rotating speed according to the engine rotating speed. Further, the device is provided with a lap detecting means 37 to detect running-in condition of the engine and a correcting means 42 to receive output of the lap detecting means 37 and change the changeover rotating speed of the control means 41 according to the running-in condition of the engine.</p>
