PURPOSE:To obtain the subject resin composition having high heat-stability in melt-extrusion and giving an extrusion molded article such as film having excellent surface appearance by compounding a crystalline thermoplastic polyester resin with a small amount of a polycarbonate resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition generating <= 0.1 wt.% of a material solid at normal temperature by the melt-treatment at 260 deg.C for 50 min is produced by compounded (A) 95-99.99 wt.% of a resin composed mainly of a polyester resin (preferably polybutylene terephthalate) composed mainly of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid (or its ester-forming derivative) and a >= 3C aliphatic dihydroxy compound and (B) 5-0.01 wt.% of a polycarbonate resin of formula (Q is bivalent organic radical R is alkyl or halogen; (m) and (n) are 0-4) (preferably a resin containing bisphenol A as a skeleton). The composition is extruded in molten state to form a molded article such as a sheet. |
