The invention concerns a wind turbine with a tower-like mast (10) carrying a rotor fitted with blades (13) and a generator powered by the rotor, the aim of the invention being to provide a suitable lightning-protection installation. To this end, the wind turbine is fitted with a deployable lightning conductor (19), coupled to a thunderstorm detector designed to trigger the deployment of the lightning conductor, and with associated earthing. When deployed, the lightning conductor extends beyond the blades of the rotor which is stopped when the lightning conductor deployment is triggered. |
