<p>PURPOSE:To realize the transmission system with high reliability by selecting a standby line simultaneously, and making succeeding transmission even when any of incoming and outgoing lines in a block of an active line is faulty. CONSTITUTION:Terminal station equipments LTE1, LTE2 connecting respectively to digital terminal station equipments DTE provided to each terminal station are provided in the system and repeaters REP1, REP2 are interposed between the terminal station equipments LTE1, LTE2. When a fault such as a broken active transmission line takes place, signal lines for a main signal used for the transmission of supervisory control information are selected simultaneously to standby lines to continue the transmission of the main signal and the monitor control signal. Thus, the communication transmission system with high reliability is realized.</p> |
