PURPOSE:To easily calculate plotting dots on a periphery and to plot a circle at high speed only by means of the generation of dots on a 1/8 periphery by obtaining the dots on the periphery by the operation of an axial direction distance minimum method and obtaining the symmetrical dots on the 1/8 periphery. CONSTITUTION:A plotting data generation means by the operation of the axial direction distance minimum method, a Y=X axis symmetrical coordinate generation means 8 generating coordinate data symmetrical to a (Y=X) axis, a second storage means 5e, an X-axis symmetrical coordinate generation means 9 generating coordinate data symmetrical to the X-axis, a fourth storage means 5g, a Y-axis symmetrical coordinate generation means 10, and a sixth storage means 5i are used. The dots on the 1/8 periphery are sequentially generated, and the dots symmetrical to the (Y=X)-axis, the X-axis and the Y-axis are simultaneously or sequentially generated.
