The temp. monitoring system allows a warning signal to be supplied and/or reduction of the torque delivered by the engine and/or switching out of the anti-skid braking regulation upon a max, threshold temp. being reached. The temp. increase during braking and anti-slip braking regulation and the temp. reduction during cooling phases are accounted for during the determination fo the brake temp.
