The lighting unit (2) and/or the ventilation slots (3, 4) are fitted directly in the flap (1). The lighting fitting (2) can be arranged in the region of a swivelling hinge (7) situated at the upper side of the flap (1). Ventilation slots (4) are arranged in the lower section of the flap (1), and can run inclined upwards in the direction of the passenger accommodation space. The lighting unit (2) is fitted in an opening passing through the flap (1), and is provided at both sides with light outlet openings. The light fitting forms the end of the flap facing the hinge (7), and is provided also at the free end face of the flap facing the hinge, with outlet openings. ADVANTAGE - Working of light unit and/or ventilation slots remains assured also with opened flap, without adversely affecting size of compartment.
