<p>PURPOSE:To substantially reduce a curl, generated in a sheet, by providing a control means for controlling a sheet conveying means in a manner wherein a recording image rear end of the sheet is fed out by a fixed amount from a discharge port, after recording is finished, and then fed back by the fixed amount to place the sheet in a standby condition. CONSTITUTION:A sheet conveying means 1 is controlled by a control means 11 so as to place a sheet in a standby condition in such a manner that a recording image rear end of the sheet is fed out by a fixed amount from a discharge port, after recording is finished, and fed back by the fixed amount. A curl is prevented from being easily generated in the sheet even when this standby condition lasts for a long time by relaxing tension applied to the sheet by this standby condition.</p> |
