PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to recognize that a filed position enters in an image area and confirm the positional relation before outputting an image by discriminating whether or not the filed position exists in the area in accordance with the image to be outputted and informing the user in accordance with discriminated result. SOLUTION: In the case of designating the start of preview, a document is fed to a platen glass by a document feeder 4 and is read and stored in a memory 104. An image processing part 105 reads out the image data in the memory 104, detects the size of the image to which image processing set by an operation part 6 has been performed in the form of maximum and minimum coordinates and stores them in a register. A CPU 106 read out the maximum and the minimum coordinates from the register in the processing part 105 and compare the result with stapling position coordinates shown by the set contents in the register. In the case the selected stapling position exists in the image area, a warning sound is given until the OK key of the operation part 6 is depressed, and also the preview image is displayed on a display 2 with the stapling position. |
