PURPOSE:To detect the position of electrostatic charge image base, where electrostatic charge images are formed, easily and securely by forming an optical mark in an area other than the picture formation area of the base and also by providing an optical sensor which detects the said optical mark. CONSTITUTION:On the external circumferential surface of a blank area II other than the picture formation area 1 of a base 1, an optical mark 20 is formed unchangeably, and an illumination lamp 21 and an optical sensor 22 provided in an area following the said electrostatic charge image formation part 2 at the external circumference of the base 1, for example, detects the optical mark 20 having passed through the sense point of the optical sensor 22. Then, the drive of a processing equipment to be driven synchronizing with the said base 1 is controlled by a detection signal obtained by the optical sensor 22. Consequently, a transfer-paper feeding pinch roller 11 and the said equipment are driven easily and securely in securely controlled states. |
