PURPOSE:To enable entirely with one effort an necessary operation through an operation accepting part by providing a converter, the operation accepting part, storing part and an external emitting part, and utilizing a corresponding machine integrated in a television image receiving machine as it is through an optical signal from the external emitting part in order to operate the television image receiving machine. CONSTITUTION:The optical signal specification is stored in a storing part 14 for each operation content of a remote control operator S. Then, when a specified television program is viewed, the specified operation contents are commanded through the operation accepting part 15. When the operation contents from the operation accepting part 15 is about volume control, the optical signal specification of the volume controlling function is read out of a storing part 14, the optical signal which corresponds to that specification is emitted by an external emitting part 13, the optical signal is made incident to an optical signal photodetector of a television image receiving machine TV. In this way, the volume control is executed by using the volume controlling function integrated in the television image receiving machine TV. Thus, the necessary operation is enabled with one effort. |
