PURPOSE:To always maintain the concentration of a lubricating liquid in a tank in a desired prescribed value by measuring the concentration of a forging die lubricating liquid with an ultrasonic sensor and replenishing automatically a stock solution and water by a proper quantity, based on its measured value. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a tank 1 for storing a forging die lubricating liquid 2 obtained by dispersing uniformly fine grains of graphite into water, an ultrasonic sensor 6 provided so that a part of the lubricating liquid 2 flows through between them, and an ultrasonic - concentration converter 7 for calculating concentration of graphite fine grains in the lubricating liquid 2. Also, the device is provided with a concentration correction computing element 9 for calculating the quantity of a stock solution and water replenished in accordance with the output signal of the ultrasonic - concentration converter 7 and a stock solution replenishment control part 12 and a water replenishment control part 13 for controlling the quantity of a stock solution and water replenished to the tank in accordance with its output signal. That is, when the concentration of the lubricating liquid 2 is varied, a variation appears in ultrasonic characteristics of a transmission sound velocity and a sound pressure level, etc., therefore, based on its output signal, the replenishment quantity of a stock solution and water is adjusted. In such a manner, a concentration measurement and mixing are automatized, and the concentration can be maintained in a prescribed value. |
