PURPOSE:To reduce noise without causing delay in printing, a collapse phenomenon, and the deterioration of paper feed properties and film feed properties by a method wherein an acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer is incorporated in a specific resin composition and crosslinked. CONSTITUTION:A platen roll is formed by molding using a resin composition in which the required amounts of a hexamethylene tetramine, a fiber reinforcing material, an inorganic filler, and various types of additives, as required, are compounded in a novolak phenol resin. At this time, an acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer, a vulcanizing agent, and a vulcanization accelerator are incorporated in the resin composition and crosslinked. The acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer is an acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer or a modified acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer containing at least one selected from among carboxyl group, a hydroxyl group, carboxylate group, an acid anhydride group, and vinyl group in the copolymer. |
