PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE ION-SENSITIVE PROBE ELECTRODE OF A HEAVY-METAL-ION SENSOR

Described is a process for the production of the ion-sensitive probe electrode of a heavy-metal-ion sensor, the electrode containing a mixture of Ag2S and MeS, where Me is the heavy metal to be determined. The invention calls for the components of the probe electrode to be printed on a substrate using thick-film techniques, films of Ag2S/MeS mixture with different heavy-metal ions being applied adjacent to each other. This sensor is inexpensive to manufacture and responds to different heavy-metal ions.
