PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a window frame by an ordinary construction method, and to use an inner architrave having an ordinary depth regardless of the thickness of a heat insulating material in an externally sticking heat insulating construction method. SOLUTION: This window frame WF is installed on a window sill 5, a lintel 6, and left and right columns 7 and 8 by an ordinary method, and simultaneously with installation of the window frame or after installation, an outer architrave 14 overhanging the outdoor side from respective surfaces and continuing in a rectangular shape along the window frame is fixed an outdoor side surface of the lintel and the left and right columns in a state of being brought into close contact with a window frame outer peripheral part. Afterwards, the heat insulating material is stuck to the outdoor side of the columns in a state of allowing one edge of the heat insulating material HIM to abut to an outer peripheral surface of the outer architrave. One edge of an outer wall material 9 is received by the outer peripheral surface of the outer architrave 14 on the outdoor side of the heat insulating material.
