<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to effectively regenerate a filter without burning by providing a means for supplying fuel upstream from the filter to regenerate the filter, and controlling the means so as to adjust a fuel supply quantity according to an intake air quantity and exhaust temperature. CONSTITUTION:In a exhaust gas processing device wherein a collecting filter 51 supporting oxide catalyst is interposed in an exhaust passage of an engine, there is provided a means 51 for supplying fuel upstream from the filter 51 to regenerate the filter 51. Furthermore, there are provided a means 53 for detecting directly or indirectly an intake air quantity of an engine, and a means for detecting an exhaust temperature in the vicinity of the filter 51. A fuel supply means 52 is controlled by a control means 55 such that the fuel supply quantity is increased along with increase in the intake air quantity and is decreased along with increase in exhaust temperature. Therefore, it is possible to effectively regenerate the filter without harming its durability.</p> |
