PURPOSE:To increase direct advance property and turn property during run at high speed and improve stable operability by dividing a belt layer into a belt ply piece at center and belt ply pieces on both two sides of it, and by alternating belt cords between belt ply pieces at the center and on the side. CONSTITUTION:A belt layer 7 consists of a belt ply piece 7a at the center which has the width, WC, of 0.1 times or more and 0.6 times or less of tread width, WT, which is the distance between end fringes E1 and E2 in the direction of tire axis in a tread section 2 and belt ply pieces 7b, 7c on two sides on the outside of direction of tire axis, with the equator of tire, C, as the center. A small width ply 10 which forms belt ply pieces 7a, 7b, 7c is formed by imbedding two belt cords 11 into a topping rubber 12, and the belt cord 11 is formed by the material which has modulus of elasticity of 600kgf/mm<2> or more. The belt ply piece 7a at the center and the belt ply pieces 7b, 7c on the side make the material of belt cord 11 different. |
