PURPOSE:To discharge hot water in a rice cooking vessel from a drain pipe within an extremely short time and cook a large quantity of rice at once by carrying a rice cooking vessel, and auto matically close a steam discharge hole when the vessel reaches the end of a processing part in which the vessel is heated with the steam discharge port being in opened state. CONSTITUTION:The steam of a vessel 1 generated according to boiling is discharged from a steam discharge hole 13. When a rice cooking vessel 1 reaches the end of a heating processing part 9, an arm 16 having an opening and closing valve 14 is engaged with a roller 19 and pressed downward. Then the arm 16 is rotated counterclockwise around a roller shaft 15, and the opening and closing valve 14 closes the steam discharge hole 13. A spring 17 draws the arm 16 to keep the steam discharge hole 13 in closed state. Hence, the steam in the rice cooking vessel 1 can not escape to the outside, the pressure in the rice cooking vessel 1 is increased, and the hot water in the vessel is discharged from a drain pipe within an extremely short time. The hot water is discharged to the lower end of the drain pipe, and only a slight hot water is left in the vessel. In this state, the rice cooking vessel 1 is transferred to steam boiling processing part 10. |
