PURPOSE:To perform all the process of picture transmission by means of light, by emitting spectrums for oneline's share of picture to an optical fiber via a read-in optical system as a wave length information corresponding to the picture and returning this information to be emitted to the state before emission via a readout optical system. CONSTITUTION:Light of a light source 9 having a broad wave length distribution is changed to a spectrum for one line's share with a height slit such as knife edge provided at an optical emission section of a read-in spectrometer 10. The spectrum reflected on an original 12 fed toward the arrow E via the 1st read-in optical system 11 is incident to an optical fiber as wave length information corresponding to the picture section of the original 12 via the 2nd optical system 13. The emitted information is introduced to a write-out spectrometer 16 via the 1st optical system 15 and reproduced and polarized to the mode before the light is made incident to the fiber 14. Since it is introduced on a photo receptor 18 turned synchronizingly with the original 12 via the 2nd optical system 17, the entire process of the picture transmission can be made by using light and a complicated conversion means is not required. |
