PURPOSE:To make a smooth discharging of oily smoke, odor and exhaust gas generated during a cooking operation and ascending straight by a method wherein a suction port of a discharging air blower having suction ports at both side surfaces arranged more forwardly than a discharging port, and a filter forming a gas collecting space is disposed between a main body of a hood and the air discharging air blower in opposition to the suction port of the discharging air blower and inclined to it. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal air discharging blower 6 having suction ports 2 at both side surfaces is disposed more forwardly at an intermediate part between a right an a left side of a main body 1 of a hood in such a way as the suction ports 2 are placed just above a cooking device heater 14 and then the discharging port 7 is directed upwardly at a rear part and coincided with a discharging port 15. At a lower part of the discharging air blower 6, a filter 9 is disposed to be inclined in response to the suction ports 2 so as to form a gas collecting space 8 between it and the main body 16 of the hood. Oily smoke, odor and discharging gas generated during the cooking operation ascend upright, inertially strike against the filter 9, oil and fat components in he oily smoke are absorbed and removed, thereafter they are accumulated once at the gas collecting space 8 and then they ascend as they are, pass through the filter 9 and they are discharged smoothly. |
