摘要 PURPOSE:To adjust stepwise a signal voltage for controlling an aperture F value and to select the F value stepwise through one terminal by connecting the output of a decoder with a latch to a resistance selectively in an automatic dimming strobe for a camera. CONSTITUTION:The strobe device 1 is equipped with a logical arithmetic circuit 8, decoder circuit 11 with the latch, and light emission stop signal generating circuit 15. When a film speed and an aperture value are inputted from a terminal 9, a digital signal is outputted from output terminals F1-F3 together with a latch output L and a decoder 12 sends an output to a specific output terminal Di, so a voltage corresponding to a connected resistance among resistances 17- 24 is developed at a point 141 to obtain an F value signal. Further, the stationary output of outputs F1-F3 is supplied to the circuit 15 to control the proper level of the quantity of light. Thus, stepwise aperture control is performed by one output terminal.
