<p>1. Method for using signals supplied by an optical pyrometer having two channels characterised in that: - for each channel, a wide optical passband is defined; - account is taken, both for the calibration and for the measurement, of the energetic luminance of the spectrum received respectively in the first and in the second band; - the photodetector is calibrated by reference to a black body which is raised in succession to at least two known temperatures, by calculating theoretically these energetic luminances with the aid of a computer which, from the Planck formula L = f(< lambda >,t) computes the integrals <IMAGE> - then, with the aid of the pyrometer thus calibrated, the electrical voltages Vi and Vj supplied by the channel 1 and by the channel 2 of the pyrometer are measured during an optical examination of the body; - from these are calculated, using the functions V = g(L), the values LA and LB of the energetic luminance actually received by each channel; - that one of the Planck curves L = f(< lambda >,T) whose integrals <IMAGE> are precisely equal to the measured luminances is sought iteratively with the aid of a computer.</p> |
