PURPOSE:To reduce the effect of centrifugal hydraulic pressure as well as to decrease the extent of shift shock by constituting it to achieve a speed change with these small diametral clutches engaged together in the case where it is judged to be such a shift speed that there are plural types of patterns for a combination of engagement and release of an engaging means. CONSTITUTION:A shift speed determined at a shift speed decision part 12 is inputted into a shift speed judging part 13, and whether the shift speed is settable by plural types of engagement and release patterns or not is judged. In this case, if it is predetermined to be set to any of main shift speeds, all shift speeds to be judged come to such that can be set by plural types of engagement and release patterns. When the judged result at this shift speed judging part 13 is inputted into a shift speed setting part 14, this judging part 14 outputs these engagement and release patterns, serving as engaging those of small diametral clutches out of plural numbers of engagement and release patterns setting the determined shift speed. |
