PURPOSE:To obtain an offset sheet printer capable of printing sheets in a single step instead of conventionally having to print sheets in two steps by providing an ultraviolet drying device at least between the first color and the second color as well as between the second color and the third color. CONSTITUTION:An offset sheet printing device consists of ultraviolet drying devices, each being provided at least between the first color and the second color as well as between the second color and the third color. If a printing medium such as sheet is fed from a feeder 1, the former is carried between rollers and further between a blanket cylinder 6 and an impression cylinder, then between the impression cylinder 18 and a cross-over roller 7. After that, the printing medium is transported to a delivery part 4, and ink is transferred to the sheet from the blanket cylinder 6 to which ink for an image part is transferred to a plate cylinder 5 by the first color printing unit 2. Then the transferred ink is dried using an ultraviolet drying device 8 and the same process is performed in succession with the second and third color printing units and the following units. Finally the ink is dried using the ultraviolet drying device 9 capable of 17.6KwX5 lamps. Subsequently, the offset sheet printing device which can print sheets in a single installment instead of having to print sheets in two or more installments, although an adequate number of printing units are provided, is obtained. |
