<p>Devices for loading and unloading cured hams (5), cooked meat moulds or other such meat products onto and from the hangers (3) of a monorail installation, with or without trays (4); the transfer operation is effected by a reversible conveyor belt (1) carried in a moving frame (2), capable both of ascending and descending and of traversing bodily along its own conveying axis, also with one end shaped (35) such that it can be lowered directly onto the tray (4) or shelf (37) of a single hanger (3) and pick up or deposit a number of products in formation, without mishap; sensors are used to verify the position of the hanger and the full or empty state of the trays or shelves, and the hanger is held in alignment with the conveyor between hinged restraints (6) throughout the transfer operation. <IMAGE></p> |
