PURPOSE:To eliminate a step difference of a parabolic waveform by providing a vertical deflection current detector, a full-wave rectifier circuit, a multiplier and a horizontal deflection power supply modulation circuit and rectifying a sawtooth wave generated in the vertical deflection current detector in full wave. CONSTITUTION:A vertical deflection current detector 1 generates a sawtooth wave voltage signal synchronously with a vertical deflection current flowing to a line 7 connecting to a vertical deflection coil. A full wave rectifier circuit 8 rectifies the sawtooth wave signal to output a triangle wave signal, it is amplified by an amplifier 2 and inputted to a multiplier 3, which applied square calculation to the amplifier triangle wave to generate a parabolic waveform. The parabolic waveform is inputted to a horizontal deflection power supply modulation circuit 4, which applies a voltage resulting from modulating a DC voltage with a parabolic waveform to a horizontal deflection output circuit and supplies a current modulated by a parabolic waveform to the deflection coil. As a result, horizontal pin cushion distortion is corrected. |
