PURPOSE:To obtain paste rich in taste of seaweed and having high nutrient value by blending a seaweed base reconstituted by proper water with a desired edible material. CONSTITUTION:For example, fine pieces of laver leaf body are dried and toasted by far infrared ray to afford laver. The laver is reconstituted by a proper amount of water to give a seaweed base. The seaweed base is blended with a desired edible material such as smoked fish, cream cheese or horseradish to provide the aimed paste. The seaweed base may be fine piece of laver leaf body itself or powder obtained by subjecting the laver leaf body to freeze drying. |
