PURPOSE:To carry out filling a rotary column with a liquid or discharging the liquid from the column quickly and easily by installing a system to control air volume in each chamber formed by partitioning the column. CONSTITUTION:When air is sent to a rotary-type column 3 or air in the rotary- type column is discharged from the column, air volume in each chamber is freely controlled by setting a system to control the air volume freely. The control system is composed of a pipe 6 for sending and discharging air, valves for sending and discharging air, and a pump 11 for controlling air volume, and the pipe 6 for sending and discharging air is held in the column 3 and air volume is controlled in the way of sending air through the pipe 6 using the valves 7, 8 and the pump 11.
