PURPOSE:To provide the compact device by disposing a collimator lens in a position where the laser beam in a single mode oscillation direction is collimated and a cylindrical lens system in such a manner that the axis thereof aligns to a multimode oscillation direction. CONSTITUTION:The collimator lens 6 is disposed in the position where the laser beam of the single mode oscillation direction among the laser beams is collimated. The cylindrical lens system 7 is constituted of at least two pieces of the cylindrical lenses disposed in such a manner that the axes align to the multimode oscillation direction. The beams are shaped to an arbitrary shape by the cylindrical lenses 8, 9 for shaping and further and astigmatism is corrected by a cylindrical lens 10 for correcting the astigmatism in the cylindrical lens system 7. The entire part of the optical system including a light source is formed compact in this way. |
