The invention relates to a drop plate (10) for wet or damp preparations, e.g. chemical or biological preparations like blood, consisting of a first plate preferably of transparent material, especially transparent plastic, with several fittings (18) on the surface (14) for the preparations in which there is a second plate (20) which may be placed on the first (12), the surface of which is such that, with the surface (22) of the fittings (18) of the first plate (12), it forms a plane or slightly curved superficially extending gap (30) of such a width that the volume of the preparation substantially fills that of the gap. To show whether the plates have been used, either they have a locking device or the use of the plate is made clear by the use of existing marks. To this end it is possible to use either locking devices or capillary incisions (56, 156) running from the fitting surface. |
