The invention concerns a device that identifies the proper operation or/and malfunctioning of the electronic control and adjustment systems as well as of various types of static converters for drilling electric controls.The device for fault detection of a SCR, including a static converter (static frequency changer), consists of a measuring device and a two-stage switch that allows the connection of the device in the major points of the SCR-static frequency changer system. Thus, it allows the detection of the faulty part, the static frequency changer operating on a synthetic load that is selected through a test switch.
