<p>This invention relates to xanthine derivatives having antiasthmatic activity and of general formula (I), wherein R is a linear or branched chain alkyl group of from one to six carbon atoms, and R1 is a linear or branched chain alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group of from one to six carbon atoms, with the proviso that R and R1 are never methyl groups simultaneously, their physiologically acceptable salts, their pharmaceutical compositions having antiasthmatic activity, as well as two processes for their preparation.</p> |
