PURPOSE:To adjust the lighting level of the lighting load of a fluorescent lamp, etc., without varying lighting level data by providing an adjusting means which fixes corresponding bits of input lighting level data at one predetermined level and outputs them to a lighting signal generating means. CONSTITUTION:A display device 11 makes a display on a display part 17 according to a data signal DA which is supplied from a control part 12. Plural fluorescent lamps L1 - Ln of the display part 17 consist of a red fluorescent lamp R, a green fluorescent lamp G, and a blue fluorescent lamp B. Those fluorescent lamps L1 - Ln illuminate with brightness and colors corresponding to a display image, so every time dimming control and color tone control are performed, adjusting circuits D1 - Dn and duty signal generating circuits E1 - En generate a duty signal, with which illumination control parts B1 - Bn perform lighting control over the fluorescent lamps R, G, and B. Consequently, the lighting level of a lighting load can be adjusted without varying and inputting the lighting level data. |
