<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of hardware to improve the reliability and to simplify the control by substituting the function corresponding to plural timers with single hardware. CONSTITUTION:Information transmitted to an input queue 4 is stored in individual addresses 0 to 15 of a memory 1 with a timer count value and an identifier as each pair. Respective addresses of the memory part 1 are periodically read out by a control logic circuit part 2, and the time count value is discriminated, and decrement operation is performed by a decrementer 3; and when the time count value is 0, the elapse of a prescribed time is recognized to write the part of the identifier in an output queue. In case of a general control processor, a hardware interrupt is generated by the identifier written in the output queue 5, and the identifier is sued as an interrupt vector value to jump the program execution to a prescribed processing. Consequently, the prescribed processing is executed after a certain time.</p> |
