Simplified casing process for embedded electrode assembly - using separable web to support electrodes and support pins to hold assembly while melted plastic is cast

The method involves the casting of a number of electrodes, which are supported inside a supporting web (110), to form an electrode group joined by a plastic compound. The electrode groups are cut from the supporting web to form an assembly having electrically separated electrodes. The assembly is placed in a mould, supported by pins, and cast with melted plastic. After cooling, the support pins are removed. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for angular sensor in internal combustion engine. Simple and effective.
