<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope cooling device allowing the use under a high temperature environment by being mounted on the insertion section of an endoscope apparatus and effectively cooling an insertion section, and allowing an operator to suitably observe a subject under an illumination with an illumination light by suppressing flare, and to provide the endoscope apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This endoscope cooling device 20 which circulates cooling fluid and cools a distal end side having an observation member 3 by the insertion section 6 of the endoscope apparatus 1 for observing a subject, includes: a sheath 22 forming a cooling channel 21 for passing the cooling fluid between the outer circumferential face and the distal end face of the insertion section 6 and mounted on the distal end side of the insertion section 6; a window section 38 provided at least on the side face or the distal end face of the sheath 22 for observing the outside from the inside of the sheath 22; a fluid circulation section 23 feeding the cooling fluid to the cooling fluid 21 and recovering it; and an illumination means 24 provided inside the sheath 22 and illuminating the outside of the sheath 22 from the window section 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
