The rectangular baskets for pot plant transport, have reinforced corners for insertion of distance spacer supports. The basket base slopes downwards towards corner, and has a drain hole with a plug. The container has a rectangular bottom (1) with vertical side walls (2-5). At the corner sections, (6,9) distance spacers (10) are fitted in recesses (11). At the lowest sloping bottom part a drain hole (12) is provided with a plug attachment. A double-walled partition (13) is reversible, allowing holes (14,15) to act as drainage apertures. Each distance spacer has a corner plate (18) with tapered stop (19).
