Galvanic process operation using pre- and post-treatment baths - involves continuously or cyclically supplying fresh liq. whose life is limited by continuous operation
摘要
Operation of galvanic treatment installation with at least a pre- and post-treatment bath, involves the novelty of continuously or cyclically supplying fresh treatment liquid to one or other of the baths whose service life is limited by continuous operation of the unit. In particular a corresponding amt. of liquid is withdrawn from one bath and liquid supplied to the other. In an example, a lower supply bath (2) is connected to an treatment bath (1) via piping (3) which incorporates an e.g. computer-controlled metering pump (4) and has its discharge end extending into the lower region of the treatment bath. The supply bath has a liquid level sensor (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for e.g. pickling, decontaminating or passivation processes, the method of operation permits uninterrupted operation and eliminates interruptions due to e.g. formation of potential barriers during operation of the installation.
