PURPOSE:To improve sealing performance by providing leather material around the external periphery of a shaft with grooves being brought into contact, also loosely fitting a cylindrical frame to it, and charging and hardening fluid binder between the leather material and frame. CONSTITUTION:A substance 2 made of leather as a sealing material is fitted around the external periphery of a shaft 1 with grooves. A cylindrical frame 3 with bottom is loosely fitted to the leather sealing material 2, and fluid-type naturally hardened resin 4 is poured between the leather sealing material and the frame 3. When this resin 4 is poured, the leather sealing material 2 is pressed and stuck to the shaft 1 due to the weight of the fluid resin 4. In this state, the resin 4 is hardened. Therefore, the leather sealing material 2 reduces the friction resistance and also improves the sealing performance. |
