NUMERICAL CONTROLLER FOR LASER BEAM MACHINE

PURPOSE:To continue laser beam machining without wasting the time and material by automatically continuing machining from the stop position after an alarm is stopped. CONSTITUTION:An NC statement analysis part 12 drives a servomotor 16 and commands a sequence control part 13 according to an user machining program 20. A stage log storage part 14 records the behaviors of the NC statement analysis part 12 and the sequence control part 13. A restarting sequence making- out part 15 makes out and controls restarting procedures of laser beam machining based on laser beam machining conditions held by the stage log storage part 14 at the time of restarting. After the alarm is stopped, laser beam machining is then continued automatically from the stop position. Consequently, laser beam machining can be restarted from the alarm stop position without necessitating special operation.
