PURPOSE:To transmit a highly ambient and natural sound signal without lossing a high transmission efficiency by transmitting the data signal of a highly efficient coded sound signal only when the sound signal is in a soundless state and a data sending request is outputted. CONSTITUTION:Only when a sound detecting signal 111 inputted from a sound detecting circuit 11 is in a soundless state and a data sending request signal 212 inputted from a data storing/detecting circuit 21 is significant, a sound data multiplexing circuit 40 sends a sending permission signal 401 to the circuit 21 based upon both the signals 111, 212 and selects the sending of the signal 211 sent from the circuit 21 to a transmission line. Namely when a data signal requiring transmission is not inputted, a transmitting side background noise signal with a low level included in a soundless section is also transmitted in addition to a sound signal. Thus, a highly ambient and natural sound signal can be transmitted without lossing the high transmission efficiency. |
