The invention concerns a toothbrush (1) in which several flexible bristle carriers (3) are fixed to guide rails (2) inside the toothbrush handle. By means of a pusher (5) which travels along a guideway (7), the bristle carriers (3) can be advanced. At the same time, the pusher (5) fulfils a sealing function and, by virtue of snap-in lock (6), prevents unwanted displacement of the bristle carriers (3). When a bristle carrier has been sufficiently used, the bristle carriers are advanced and the used bristle carrier broken off at the separation notch (4), whereupon the next bristle carrier is ready for use. |
