<p>The invention is introducing a method and a device for connecting portable cardiac defibrillators to the alternative current network, when there are no batteries or they are worn out. This method, according to the invention, allows the supplying of the defibrillator from the alternative current network, during the period previous to loading of the energy storage capacitor, as well as during its loading, followed by the total galvanic separation of the alternative current network, during the time interval in which the defibrillation takes place, by sensing the lowering of the defibrillator's consumption after the loading of the storage capacitor for defibrillation is completed and supplying the defibrillator during this interval to a buffer battery source. The device, according to this invention, consists of a main power source, which can be totally separated from the alternative current network with a relay, through an optical command to a secondary power source, the disconnecting period being determined by a time meter, a buffer battery source and a commutation circuit, which performs the SAU function, by which the defibrillator can be fed from the main source or from the buffer source.</p> |
