This invention concerns a step-by-step electric motor torque meter. In accordance with this invention, the device operates based upon a method of measuring the motor torque through the equation of the torque with the moment of friction between two horizontal friction disks. This device consists of a motor fastening and coupling sub-assembly, which includes a base plate on which the motor, a coupling, and a lower and higher can are mounted; a balancing subassembly of the motor torque consisting of a mobile ceiling which together with the mobile can forms a isostatic bearing on the cone, a fixed plate that is centred through a support column and a friction disk, and a device for gravitation discharge of the fixed plate together with the friction disk and the hydraulic cooling system, which consists of a rigid wire passing over a pulley roll with isostatic bearing and having a counterweight at the other end. The moment of friction is obtained through the use of test weights.
