摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the subject screen plate having excellent abrasion resistance, not deformed, capable of being used for a long period and suitable for waste paper-refining devices by processing a material having a low hardness and subsequently flame-spraying a carbide cermet on the processed material to form a coating film. CONSTITUTION:A screen plate is made of steel having a HV surface hardness of <=500 and a carbide cermet such as WC or SiC having a HV of >=800 is flame-sprayed on the inner surface and/or outer surface of the prepared screen plate to form a coating film having a surface roughness of 1-50mum, thereby providing the objective screen plate.
