PURPOSE:To reduce the number of required signal lines to obtain the softness of harnesses by judging a selection position by combinations of on/off conditions of each contact of select position switches and three signal lines connected therewith. CONSTITUTION:A movable plate 12 is moved to a P-range on a stationary plate 10, whereby stationary contacts P1 and P2, A and P3, or signal lines L1 and L2, L3 and L4 are conducted each other at movable contacts X, Y for allowing the driving of a starter motor. Likewise, the movable plate is moved to a R-range, whereby stationary contacts A and R, or a signal line L5 are turned on at a movable contact Z. Hereinafter in the same manner, as the movable plate is moved N, D, 2, 1, associated one is stationary contacts N1-N4, D, 21, 22, 11, 12, is conducted thereto, and then a selection position is judged from the combinations of on/off conditions of signal lines L4-L6. Thus, the number of required signal line is reduced to improve the softness of harnesses for facilitating arrangement of the harnesses and connection work. |
