PURPOSE: To prevent toner from being scattered to the periphery by opening a lock member by a fixing member provided on a toner hopper side so as to fix a toner supply container when the fixing member is at a position where it fixes the toner supply container. CONSTITUTION: When the fixing member 26 provided on the toner hopper 20 side so as to fix the toner supply container is at the position where it fixes the toner supply container, the lock member 27 is opened by the fixing member 26. By releasing the locking by the lock member 27 locking a shutter member 24 only when the fixing member 26 is at the fixing position, the locking of the shutter member 24 is not inadvertently released, and the locking is released only when the supply container is fixed in the hopper 20, so that toner scattering caused by misoperation at the time of supplying the toner is prevented from occurring. |
